Firearm Industry Relations Manager

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000/annually

The primary goal of NAGR is to communicate with people who care about gun rights, and equip them to engage in grassroots lobbying. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Firearm Industry Relations Manager to join the National Association for Gun Rights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining robust relationships within the firearms industry. This role is pivotal in enhancing our presence and influence as the premier pro-gun organization in the nation.

 

Primary Duties

  • Develop and manage relationships with industry professionals, gun and accessory manufacturers, gun store owners, influencers, stakeholders, and other high-profile individuals in the firearms industry.
  • Strategize and execute initiatives to foster long term partnerships and collaborations within the industry.
  • Organize and attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to represent NAGR and build influential networks
  • Drive fundraising efforts through innovative campaigns and strategies, with a focus on increasing financial support for NAGR’s initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to effectively promote NAGR’s mission and activities within the industry.
  • Provide insights and reports on industry trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform organizational strategies.
  • Work closely with the legal and policy teams to stay informed about regulatory changes, lawsuits, and other factors that may impact industry partners

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, business development, or a similar role within the firearm industry.
  • Strong understanding of the firearms industry, including regulatory and legal aspects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in fundraising and generating revenue.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings, events, and industry functions.
  • Passion for gun rights and a commitment to the mission of the National Association for Gun Rights.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, plus a generous commission structure based on fundraising
achievements.
