Kamala Harris Laughs About Shooting Potential Intruder Despite Previous Stances on Guns

The Presidential hopeful made a big statement on self-defense that contradicts her previous stances of gun ownership.

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris sat down with Oprah Winfery in front of a crowd and spoke about gun ownership, a claim she admitted during the Presidential debate.

Harris went on to say:

“If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot, sorry. I probably should not have said that, but my staff will deal with that later.”

However, Harris has previously condemned self-defense gun laws as racist, most recently in 2020.

Harris argued that those laws were “used as an excuse, if not cover, for people who are motivated by racism and racial profiling… It has been used as an excuse to kill black and brown people.

Such laws that allow a person to defend themselves and property using deadly force without a requirement to retreat from an attacker first exist in 28 states.

Even in an interview with Telemundo, Harris stated her willingness to end “stand your ground” laws.

Harris has also vowed that she is “not trying to take everyone’s guns away,” despite continually backing gun control, such as a so-called “Assault Weapons” Ban.
