Washington, D.C.- Multiple media outlets are reporting that the Biden Administration will be announcing the formation of an office of gun violence prevention on Friday of this week.
Reports are that the office will be staffed with gun control activists from groups such as Everytown for Gun Safety and Community Justice Action Fund.
“Yet another executive action from President Biden designed to weaken and ultimately destroy the Second Amendment,” said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights. “Make no mistake, Biden’s purpose is to create a democrat led Gun Control Office dedicated to anti-gun propaganda and disarming law-abiding citizens.”
President Biden’s efforts to pass gun control legislatively have had limited success, so he has increasingly turned to executive actions and using the AFT to impose his gun control policies.
“Joe Biden continues to usurp the role of Congress when it comes to gun legislation,” said Brown. “Using taxpayer dollars to form yet another bloated bureaucracy to circumvent the Constitution and diminish individual freedoms is a hallmark of this administration.”
The National Association for Gun Rights is the nation’s largest “no compromise” pro-gun organization, with 4.5 million members nationwide.
