National Association for Gun Rights Delivers Petitions to ATF Headquarters

Washington, D.C.- Representatives of the National Association for Gun Rights delivered tens of thousands of petitions to ATF Headquarters this morning opposing the Biden Administration’s and ATF’s executive actions to bypass Congress and institute de facto Universal Background Checks on the American people.

Petitions being delivered by Hunter King, Director of Government Relations and Dudley Brown, President.

“The ATF and Joe Biden have a shameful history of making end runs around Congress and the Constitution to force their totalitarian style edicts on law-abiding citizens of the United States and we are sick of it,” said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights.

President Biden’s efforts to pass gun control legislatively have had limited success, so he has increasingly turned to executive actions and using the ATF to impose his gun control policies.

The National Association for Gun Rights has been fighting Universalization of Gun Background Checks (Registration) since the Toomey-Manchin Congressional fight in 2013.

“The history of gun registration is long and bloody,” said Brown. “Regime after regime have tread the same path of gun controls leading to confiscation and disarming of law-abiding citizens.”

The National Association for Gun Rights is the nation’s largest “no compromise” pro-gun organization, with 4.5 million members nationwide.
