Florida Governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis stated his opposition to unconstitutional “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation Laws at a campaign rally in New Hampshire this past weekend. The Governor also said if a repeal is sent to his desk, he will sign it.
“With Republican Supermajorities in both the House and Senate, as well Governor DeSantis standing firmly against ‘Red Flag’, Republicans have no excuse to not get ‘Red Flag’ repealed this legislative cycle,” said Dudley Brown, president of the National Association for Gun Rights.
Florida Gun Rights, an affiliate of the National Association for Gun Rights, is calling on its members to contact members of the Florida Legislature urging them to bring repeal legislation forward before the rapidly approaching bill filing deadline.
“Republicans have Supermajorities in both houses and now a verbal commitment from the governor to sign a repeal of ‘Red Flag’, there is no time to waste, they need to get this done,” said Brown.
The National Association for Gun Rights is the nation’s largest “no compromise” pro-gun organization, with 4.5 million members nationwide.
