Taylor Rhodes

Taylor brings a record of exceptional leadership, strategic communications, and an aggressive approach to advancing pro-Second Amendment messaging in his role as Director of Communications at the National Association for Gun Rights. Known for his sharp messaging and unyielding stance, Taylor is committed to driving national dialogue and grassroots action to defend gun rights in America.
A Cleveland, TN native, Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi, where he founded the university’s College Republicans Chapter, served as State Treasurer for the Mississippi Federation of College Republicans, and was actively involved in Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. In addition to his undergraduate studies, Taylor holds a master’s degree in marketing and public relations from Liberty University.
In 2014, Taylor founded Rhodes Consulting, LLC, a political consulting firm where he ran and advised on political campaigns and advocacy initiatives, from municipal elections to presidential races. His consulting work sharpened his skills in strategic communications, grassroots organizing, and influencing public opinion, which he now leverages in his role at NAGR.
Taylor joined the National Association for Gun Rights ecosystem as a contract lobbyist for Rocky Mountain Gun Owners in 2017. His leadership and commitment quickly led to his elevation to Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, where he spearheaded high-impact campaigns to restore individual liberties across Colorado. Employing bold, no-compromise lobbying tactics, Taylor brought the fight for gun rights to the forefront of state politics, earning him national recognition as a prominent voice for the Second Amendment.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Taylor is a man of diverse interests. In his leisure time, he enjoys cheering on his Golden Eagles, playing golf, collecting firearms, and savoring fine Kentucky Bourbon.
Taylor resides in Hoover, Alabama, with his wife, Madison, and they attend Church of the Highlands.
