United States Withdraws from United Nations Register of Conventional Arms

Last week, the Trump Administration announced the United States is departing numerous international organizations, nearly half of them affiliated with the United Nations.

Under the direction of President Trump, the United States has officially withdrawn from the UN Register of Conventional Arms.

UNROCA works closely with the UN “Small Arms Treaty” and requires participating countries to submit detailed import and export reports.

These reports include small arms and civilian market firearms.

The U.S. withdrawal from this program delivers a major blow to UN efforts to impose global gun control schemes on American gun owners.

The National Association for Gun Rights and its members and supporters have spent over a decade raising the alarm about the United Nation’s anti-gun agenda.

In an X post from the National Association for Gun Rights, it was noted:

“The work is paying off, and this marks yet another clear defeat for the United Nations.”

While a step in the right direction, the United States still sends a substantial amount of funding to the United Nations — the National Association for Gun Rights is collecting a delivering “Stop Funding the UN Gun Ban” petitions to Congress. You can sign yours by clicking here.
