Exposed: Abdul El-Sayed Hid Videos Proposing to Replace the Second Amendment

Abdul El-Sayed can hide his videos, but he can’t hide from his anti-gun statements.

Abdul El-Sayed, the Democrat nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan, wants to rewrite the Constitution and erase the Second Amendment.

In an April 2023 YouTube video he later hid, El-Sayed declared: “What if we tweaked the Constitution, amended the amendment, and instead of the right to bear arms, we change it to the right to have health care?”¹

That should tell Michigan gun owners everything they need to know.

It wasn’t a one-time comment.

In a May 2022 video he also hid, El-Sayed denied that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to own a firearm.

He claimed it only covers a “well-regulated militia” or groups like police, a position the Supreme Court rejected in District of Columbia v. Heller.¹

In all, El-Sayed hid roughly 100 YouTube videos before launching his Senate campaign.¹

When confronted, his campaign merely claimed he “respects the Second Amendment” without retracting or clarifying his earlier attacks on your gun rights.¹

No surprise, GIFFORDS PAC, one of the most aggressive gun control groups in America, has endorsed El-Sayed for the U.S. Senate.²

Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords says she knows he will oppose “the gun lobby and its dangerous policies,” and El-Sayed says he is “proud to stand with leaders like Congresswoman Giffords.”²

Michigan gun owners deserve the truth about the candidates who seek to represent them in Washington.

That’s why NAGR and Gun Rights America SuperPAC are exposing El-Sayed’s record.

The National Association for Gun Rights is taking Abdul El-Sayed’s record directly to gun owners across Michigan, and the Gun Rights America SuperPAC is running ads and phone calls and more through Election Day on November 3rd.

Through hard-hitting ads, phone calls, text messages and an all-out blitz to mobilize grassroots gun activists, NAGR is exposing the agenda of El-Sayed, and every gun grabber like him this election cycle.

Help us keep exposing gun grabbers before November 3rd.
